That's the way flexible packaging has always been. But after all, it is always plastic, and there is basically no reuse value after the combination of multi-layer material packaging, so the vast majority of packaging bags go to landfill or incinerator, and can not be recycled after use is a fatal shortcoming, why can not different structures be recycled? Multi-layer material is 2-4 layers of material composite, composite of these different materials is difficult to separate, this is like water and pigment mixed, only the water and pigment separated out, but the process cost is also quite high.

Compared with traditional packaging, a single material does not need to be stripped of different plastics during recycling, greatly reducing the complexity of the process and conducive to recycling.

  In the packaging production of a single material, the main challenge is to maintain some functional requirements, such as optical properties, barrier properties, mechanical properties, sealing, etc., and the emergence of MDOPE further solves these problems.
